My sister asked me to make a long pillow for her bed in her colors using this technique. So finally, for her 50th birthday this month, I got this done for her:

My younger brother turned 50 late last year and in some ways, it was harder than turning 50 myself, so I can relate!

Thanks all. Yeah Dee--the technique is very simple, just couched coils of fabric and then lots of chicken scratch stitching in between.
