My head is full of inspiration after spending a week in New York City, then another week traveling around Boston and New England. The whole trip seemed to focus on food and art. I waddled home and was filled on both counts.
It was barely springtime in New York, just a hint of green.

But these giant roses were blooming up and down Park Ave.

I always find good specimens for my graffiti collection.

One of my all time favorite things to do is wander the city and browse all the beautiful displays. I'm really not much of a shopper, so a great window usually satisfies me just fine.

All sparkles.

Giant balls of yarn and jars of honey.

Graphic cones.

And the Easter bonnets were out:

I think I need a velvet moon throne.

Next time some of the art that has filled my brain.

Looks like a great week,,,but no pictures of food? :o)
I don't see scenes like these in Astoria. Fun photos.
Love all the displays...thanks for sharing. I saw some cones like the ones in your photo, only undecorated, in an antique shop the other day; wish I had them now!
