Like the face on the black & white fabric, also the stars in your first piece, and the frayed edge applique is perfect for this!!
I love the energetic backgrounds and the placement of pattern on the faces. This looks like a lot of fun!

Robin, your Mr. Potato Head faces are fabulous- they remind me of DH's stories about working at Hasbro on the Mr Potato Head assembly line- more eyes over here, I need mouths, more pipes- what fun to mix it all up.
