  6. The kantha stitching is almost a form of meditation for me, must be like walking a labyrinth but in stitch.

  10. Good question Dee--I'm not sure. I love ragged edges, things barely held together, hand stitching, texture, rich saturated color, ethnic flavor, and a certain wild energy to pieces like graffiti or loose paintings. This piece has some of those things but not all. I'll have to ponder this one.
